Imaginative play is an amazing tool within therapeutic support.

Within the safety of the therapeutic relationship, children may take everyday items or toys to form connection, to communicate, to exert control, to express emotions, or to sometimes play out experiences they’ve had as a way of processing the event, their thoughts or their feelings associated with it.

Once I know what the child likes and enjoys, you will definitely find a selection of those toys in my session bag for our imaginative play.
